ELISA KITS

In the ELISA tests, the antigens (or the antibodies) present in the sample reacts with monoclonal antibodies (or recombinant proteins) that coat the microplate wells. This complex is recognized by the monoclonal antibodies present in the immunoenzimatic conjugate. Then a colored reaction occurs that quantifies the analyte in the sample depending on its concentration, by spectrophotometric measurement according to a calibration curve provided by the calibrator set included in the kit.

FACILITIES

CLEAN ROOM

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends, although does not require, that the production of immunoassay plates should be made inside a clean room. OPERON, S.A. has decided to set up a class 10,000 or ISO 7 clean room as a demonstration of its commitment to reach the highest quality for each of its products. In such a way we can control and minimize deposition of dust, fibers and spores or germs that may cause alteration of results and poor inter-plate reproducibility.

DISPENSING ROBOT

Our plate dispenser is an OBPW MPCS-10 equipment. Its main characteristics are:

High plate processing speed.
High precision dispensing pumps.
Ultrasound reader.

Placed at the end of processing, the reader monitors the volume dispensed into each well, allowing to perform a fill verification and an exhaustive plate traceability during whole manufacturing process. Thus, we can guarantee our clients that each well in their plates has been dispensed with an adequate volume. Those plates not meeting this stringent quality criterion will be discarded.

Thanks to this device we can generate a traceability certificate available to our clients that indicates the results recorded by the reader for each well and the plate suitability.

THERMOSTATED ROOM

Inside the clean room we have included a temperature and relative humidity controlled environment room. Inside this room the various solutions involved in plate processing are incubated under temperature and humidity conditions optimized for each analyte.
